stripping chrome?
i know about acid dipping and reverse electrolosis or w/e the fuck it is but i got my new wheels and the fronts are chromed, im going to powder coat them. sandblasting doesnt work on chrome and i might just have to take it to a local place to get acid dipped. but im looking for a very cheap or free solution to getting the chrome off my wheels.

hahah theres nothing wrong with making a crazy science lab in your garage...
I would just take it to a company, and have them do it all, I can imagine that would make the best outcome for the buck and your effort.

If you want to strip chrome off plastic, soak it in bleach. It works surprisingly well without melting the plastic like other solvents.
