opinions on shock/spring combos

Does anyone have experience with Tokico Coilover HP Series Kit or AGX/Sportline combo?

Besides looks, coilovers would be a waste in my case (not cheaping out, just not getting unnecessary).

EDIT: This is what Im talking about: http://www.projectnissan.com/shoppin...idproduct=1661

hmm..has to be decent enough for a DD/street car though, right? As in, still stiffer than stock?

I was also thinking that the Tokico HP setup was basically made to compliment each other.

I had the kyb agx and eibach sportlines on my 89 240 before I sold it and it handled great. Only complaint I had was the sportlines actually raised my car about an inch. I even sent pictures to their reps and they sent me 3 different springs with the same results. However I have not heard anyone else with that problem when I posted that way back in the day. I also replaced every bumper in the suspension so that was not the case.

But yes it is a good setup.

For shock/spring:

Koni inserts
RS-R Race or Swift springs

I'm not a big fan of AGXes, the adjustment knob doesn't really do anything. The Konis are far superior, well worth the extra money over the AGX. They have better damping than most coilovers, as well...

Spring choice is up to you, but I would buy the RS-R or Swift if I wanted spring/shock.

I seem to remember people saying that the sportlines would ruin the AGX's eventually. Decisions, decisions...

AGX's & Sportlines here. About two years now of DD and beating on em. I'm not sure if the adjustment on the AGX's does much (if anything). But they've served me well..
