RHD s14 fire wall question

Just wondering for those of you who did the conversion, did you use the WHOLE fire wall or just cut the part out you need?

eh.. i've never done it.

but your going to want to use the whole firewall in one piece just to keep the structual rigidity.

just cut out the spot welds off both firewalls and swap them over and spot weld and seam seal it back in.

if ur in there you could do some stitch welding to.

K thanks. I think I have a few more spot welds to undo on the clip, but yesterday when I saw how large the wall was I had second thoughts about just cutting it out but I am going to go through with it.
