Question on radiator cooling panels....

I have done searches and really didn't find anything. I was just wondering when purchasing a radiator cooling panel for a s13 with an s15 conversion, which cooling pael should I buy it for. The s13 or the s15. It maybe a dumb question, but I would just like to make sure thats all before I buy the worng thing.

Thank you

I don't exactly remember where I saw it but there was a little test on these radiator cooling panels and I believe they were fairly useless which steered me away from buying them.. If someone know what I'm talking about please post a link or something... I'll try and find it later and post it.. Good luck either way and sorry to be a little off your question..

Go to a DIY store, buy some thin sheet metal and make your own. You'll feel cool doing it.

They ARE actually somewhat functional but all overpriced imo.

Im pretty sure S15, its like the guys who do S13 Silvia front have to use S13 panels and not pop up light ones, its the lights that makes the difference. Same with the S14 and Kouki S14, they dont work with each because of the lights. I believe its because of the mounting locations.

They are functional, but not cost effective at $100+ a pop.

I use to have a egt sensor laying around the engine bay by the powersteering reservoir. I saw a 8-10 degrees temperature drop in the engine bay with the cooling panel installed. One of those headlight vents cooled the engine bay down 3-5 degrees. Note that all these are at highway speeds.
