Possible blown turbo?

Well I just recently bought an 1995 240SX with an S14 spec SR20, just about 2 weeks ago actually, well the car was running great for a couple of days. We just got a cold front in a couple of days ago and there's been a weird sound coming from my turbine, sounds like it could be the compressor wheel but im not sure. Well the sound is noticeable at idle but when you rev it up to about 2,000 rpm... it gets really loud. I dunno, I spent a lot of money on this car and I just wanna know if anyone else has had this problem or if anyone knows what could be wrong.... Thanks guys ill keep you all updated

sounds like your turbo is on it final days. but before you lose all hope what is the miles on the motor also do you know that is the original turbo if so you might want to look for another turbo. quick way to check if the turbo is out. take the inlet pipe that gose to the turbo blade and with the car off use your fingers a see if there is freeplay. move the the blade from the nut that holds it down and move it up and down side to side and in and out if you feel or see that the turbo blade rub or move too much its you turbo. hope this helps you

Yea I'm thinking it could be my turbo, theres a build up of what smells like grease but im pretty sure it's oil... I was told that the engine had 30k miles on it but im starting to think it was a lie, I'll see if i can get a video of what it's sounding like. Thank though bro

EDIT: I just uploaded a video and its sounding pretty bad... but im thinking now that it could be the heat shield because the bolts are rusted over and there's one thats broken. Here's the video,
