I searched and didnt find any "who skates" thread. So I guess ill start it.

So who here is a skateboarder,or used to skate? I skate all the time.

used to skate.. broke my leg 360 flippin a 12 stair when i was 16 - then quit. never seriously skated again. just sometimes when peeps have a board around i do some freestylin. always a fun hobby though, keep it up bud.

i used to skate when i was a kid growing up in Germany
but here in GA, there was nobody to skate with, and nowhere to do it so i lost interest

Dislocated shoulder ~12 times - original injury and few of the first times were from skating.

Severly sprained ankles.

Hairline fracture on right wrist.

Status: retired.

LOL. I skated durign the late 80s to early 90s. Skateboard boom to skateboard dull. Injuries, not progressing fast enough, graffiti and friends moving away as the it was dying made me stop. Still have a board and roll around on occasion but I can't even olly up a curb anymore.

i used to skate back in the early 90's. started up again recently. it's so hardcore now. it's fun watching these new skate videos, but i won't be doing anything that extreme.

never really got into skating, but one of my friends from grade school is in the 2nd video called chaos. I didnt realize he was that good.

I use to skate back in high school with a bunch of friends. Friends started to fade out and quit, now I hop on a board once out of a blue moon. My cousin is good friends with Drake Jones (look him up on youtube), not sure if you guys know him...extremely smooth skater. He disappeared from the skateworld out of no where and I heard transworld mag. was tryin to find him, apparently he still has a large fan base. lol

I skated when I was in high school for about 2 years. I do still snowboard however. (when I get the chance to reach somewhere with snow)

Ive been on the board for 10 years now im 21 so thats almost 1/2.
I broke my leg about 2 years ago and damm that took me out of the
game for like 6 months.Had to get a plate crunched around my fibula
along with 7 screws I also snowboard and i broke/dislocated my shoulder
I don't really know what happened to it cause I didnt go to the hospital.I went home and took care of it myself.....

with my nugs.Its still all
jacked up looking but no pain.I know lots of pro's and am's.My homie is on Listen and Adio,another homie skates for Nike.Use to kick it with the Baker crew till I moved out to Corona.Like I always say "if you stray away than fade away"So for you that still skate keep it up.And the ones that use to skate What are you so busy doing?......and dont say work, or i gotta GF.

he's 16 turning 17 in november, he was skating for the firm up until they merged with flip. then he was getting flowed from powell and thunder trucks but he hasn't sent any footage for like 3 months and they stopped sending him stuff. he is collecting footage right now, seen some of it and its fucking dope as hell. will post when its up. in the mean time here is some of my neighbors mess up footage.

i skate when i have time i have a element board/venture trucks/abec wheels and bearings.. i love skating though, watching footage making fun of fruitbooters. just watching period.

xgames just started one of my fav skaters eric koston qualifyed 2nd.
