It is very rare that cheap is good in this world.

You could swap in a KA24DE for the cost of a good header for the KAE.

get a set of pacesetters, port them out a little bit more and stick a pipe plug in the bottom egr...but the thing is, getting a header isnt a great investement unless you plan on making everything else breath better, i.e. porting the head, port matching the intake manifold, and getting a short ram or something. you wont feel a noticable gain in power by a header alone.

hotshot was the only company that I knew of that made a decent header for the KA, but they are no longer in business. maybe you can find one used.

Pacesetter made a header for it, but it's complete garbage.

Hotshot made one as well, and it's better than the Pacesetter.

lol. Headers add some amount of power. Im getting cia, headers, full exhaust for my ka24e, then going all out suspension, and bodywork. Interior last.

headers for your kae will add about as much power as turning down the AC one notch. as in, you wont notice, and it will be less than the error margin in a dyno. get susp first.

Werd.
I ride the on ramp for the highway with my AC full blast, right as I hit the straight away, I slam on the gas and turn my AC off.

and that has any relevance to what?? i was running the same wheels before and after i changed the exhaust, so there is no other variable effecting performance besides the exhaust system. Proving that it indeed add performance ... for me ...

well there are plenty of things you can spend your money on and still be slow...a header is still worth while if you eventually have plans for headwork and intake work because there will be a better all around flow. gotta start somewhere.

^nah surfgcr.

its called, save your money for boost and dont waste it on pointless stuff like a header and intake. Bc all you'll have is a slow car that attracts alot of new police attention

unless you ball out like bigvinnie

The plural form of a noun indicates simply that there are more than one of the person or thing in question. For most nouns, the plural form includes the letter "s" at the end of the word:

Dogs
Trees
Turtles

I'm very content with my car, my KA-E goes so fast. S13's are the best drag cars ever made, I raced bright orange supra with like 800hp and smoked it. I knew it had to be a race car cause it had a huge wing on the back.

To the OP, spend you money on whatever you like. Its YOUR money.

Well, for that price. . . i'd be scared that the runners would break at the welds. If you're going to go cheap, at least get an OBX. The hot header for the SOHC is HotShot, if you can find one.
