BOV Sound-DUMBEST THREAD TOPIC EVER! I searched and couldnt find it -help a kitten =(

Okay so this is going to sound really dumb.....but ever since I was young and heard my first nice car I remember the sound of this one bov and ive always wanted it. Now that im getting my fmic back I really want to consider buying it but the problem is I dont know which one it is.

Before you flame me for (sound doesnt matter its all about performance) Im running stock boost and a mostly stock motor and cmon its like my childhood dream. Anyway since I have no way of knowing which bov it is that makes that sound, I will have to try my best while looking like an idiot typing out sounds. (which is why I put this topic in chat and not tech talk)

SSQV - high pitched "pew"
Blitz - "chaka-chakaaaaa"

Thats as far as I got...

The one im thinking of is pretty common and it sounds like this "tew tew tew tew" first is highest pitch and goes down to lower pitch at the end.
lol man I would flame myself if this were someone else posting this but seriously ive run out of ideas and the forum always knows everything ^_^

I did the same thing and they dont sound like my friends tial. My friends tial made that whatitdo sound. Ive noticed that some of the sounds of the tial sound different varying from different cars.

Thats exctly what I described and that is super close but thats not it. The sound im thinking of is a little higher pitched and it only does it about 3-4 times im looking as hard as I can =/

I with there was some way to stream audio because today at school in every class people were talking to me about cars and the questions were so hilarious.
I got the common "how can I get the pshhhh sound w/o getting a turbo"
But today some guy told me "the bov cleans the valves right?" and I just laughed right in his face lol omg

You know honestly, I have heard many supra's and their bovs always sound the same to me for some reason. Kinda like compressor surge.

lol duh only thing better then compressor surge is having those F&tF $500 speaker things in under your hood so when your car is parked and off and you flip your underglow switch you could just hit your bov button a million times...damn you can even change the sound. SICK

I don't think stock boost on an SR will make the Greddy Type-R sound anything close to that on a 2JZ.

The SSQV makes that high-pitched screech at higher pressures.
