Do you have a sohc or dohc car? The wiring will need to be spliced between the sr and Ka. Heavythrottle.com has the guide, or if you want, ill do it for you for like 50 bucks. Definitely install with the manifold and turbo on. If you dont you will hate yourself. Before you put the motor in, clean the engine bay. also if you are mechanically inclined, pull the motor apart and check everything. If not, pull the oil apart and check for metal. Replace all of your water hoses. Search, and read, even if its not what you searched for. That way, you will learn alot more than I or anyone on here will tell you in this post.

the steering should be a problem at all..
the wiring is cake... color match 8 wires besides 1 or 2 that are differnt, look it up
very easy swap...good luck

yeah i would replace all the gaskets and hoses on the motor too,

note the coolant lines in the back of the motor, you should have 3 lines back there, 2 bigger ones (heater core) and the turbo return... just make somthing work before u drop the motor in.. its a pain in the ass messing with thoes lines when the motor is in..

if your car is a sohc. your power steering would'nt work with your sr20det swap. you would need the dohc power steering line and reservoir. i got mine at a junkyard for $35. or you can get it brand new for $350 i think.

you can check out
http://srownersclub.com/faq/

hopefully this will help you. good luck
