1990 Miata, Widebody, Rotary. Listing final time, need to sell ASAP.
Hi all,
This will be the final time I list the car for sale. Need to sell ASAP. Need to help a friend with financial issues. The has been driven less than 200 miles in the last 19 months, and has more or less sat there for most of it's life during my possesion. The engine is in perfect running condition as it has always been treated with premix, and oil changes every three months. The car can use a bit of tuning, but runs fine overall. Specs --------------- Chassis: 1990 Miata with super clean California Title Engine: Rebuilt Six Port 1988 13B with less then 1k miles Weber 48 downdraft with custom manifold from Danstoy Custom 13B engine/transmission mounts from Danstoy, with the PPF intact. SX and Holley fuel regulator with Earl’s Fittings. 1988 RX7 Transmission Action 6 puck Clutch Lightened Turbo II Flywheel Turbo II Oil Cooler Apexi N1 Stainless Exhaust Custom Stainless Exhaust headers and Exhaust piping from Danstoy Exterior: Sapphire midnight blue Hand-made body 5 inch flares R-edition wing Racing Beat Bar Dual Hoop Moss High Intensity Discharge Headlight Conversion Moss Aluminum Gas Lid Cover Interior: Nardi Torino Steering Wheel JVC Chameleon Deck (won’t need it as the rotary exhaust just overpowers it) Handling: 15x8, 0 - offset, Sportmaxxxxxxx wheels, practically brand new. BRAND NEW 205/50/15 KumHO AST, ZERO miles. Tein FLEX Coiovers (200 MILES on them! Brand new!) Rotora Brembo Rotors with Axxis Metal Master Pads Rotora Stainless Steel Braided lines -----------------               ---------------------------------- The bad. I would like to be up front with this car no matter what. The car was acquired with the knowledge of it needing an additional mount on the transmission (the swap retained the PPF) as it is shifted a tiny bit towards the driver's side (it drives fine normally), but under more aggressive driving, on right turns I think the driveshaft rubs against the exhaust piping. Any fabricator should be able to weld up an mount. The HID's need to be realigned. Speedo does not work. The rear, driver's side A-arm bolt is not threaded in the arm itself as an impact gun was used by whoever installed the last coilover set (basically was jerry-rigged). BOTH front fenders were chipped during transport, they're about 1 to 2+ inches, on top of the ridge. Paint is cracking along side passenger side door. Car is currently registered as an non-op, though I can possibly register for an additional fee.   -------------------------- Price is $7.2K OBO. Price without coilovers: $6.5K.
