SR Electrical problems. HELP!

My s14 sr alternator died on me..so i replaced it with a brand new kA alternator..drove it for one week then somehow it keep on blowing my 75A fuseable link...is there somehing else that i have to get done (electrically) when using a ka alternator???i took it to the shop and the guy said the alternator is grounded and not good or whatever..but i don't know...i mean its a brand new alternator..this guy is not that good at fixing cars i don't think..but..yeah..any one ever come across this issue before? give some feedbacks..it will definately help alot..thanx

sounds to me like you have a short somewhere...check all the lower harness wiring could have an exposed part shorting to ground on the chassis.

yeah it has to be the lower harness its the only way to blow up the 75amp fuse
