Power Lock Conversion?
So ive got an OBD1 S14, build date 12/94. This was a base model S14 that came with steelies, no abs, and of course no power door locks. I really want to convert it to power door locks, but im a little unsure of all the parts ill need to do this. So far i figure ill need:
Power Lock door harnesses Door lock actuators (or solenoids, whatever) Door lock switches This is really all i can think of, anyone know of anything else ill need? |

Just get a decent car alarm/security system with keyless entry. Some kits will have the actuators included. As for the door lock switches I'd leave it alone and just use the remote. Most alarm system has a setting that will lock your door automatically after a few minutes anyway. Also nice to get a system with remote start. Check ebay they have some decent kits for a good price.

I have one on my S13 & there is no "lock" switch. I use the alarm remote to lock, and there's also an automatic sensor where if I manually lock or unlock the driver side door by hand it locks the opposing door as well.
Lots of the ebay door lock kits should have it. |

Ive thought about that, but i want the OEM factory door lock switches, Ive had very bad luck in the past with aftermarket alarm/lock systems. I just wanna do this one right, with Nissan parts
