s14 tranny in sohc driveshaft help help help

will the 95 ka manual tranny fit on the sohc manual driveshaft? help help help!!

what can cause the driveshaft not to slide inside the tranny?

not aligning it right, not turning the driveshaft... try unbolting the front 1/2 shaft and turning it like that, much easier

actually to do the swap right you need to take the large black metal/rubber tailshaft seal guard/shroud off and replace it with a metal smaller one that the s13 had, the dirve shafts are differnt, the s14 wont interchange, but a s13 drive shaft with a vibration damper wont fit on the s14 tranney with the shroud on. i swapped a s13 tail shaft housing on because the metal s13 piece is mostlikly expensive or unavailable.

if that shroud is still on it wont even come close to fitting.

and auto drive shafts dont work either.
