Clutch/tranny: No first or Reverse with a twist.

Quick rundown:
Purchased the car from a friend, car was a project and was basically put together from the shell up. The clutch is new and I'm assuming was installed correctly. The slave cylinder is brand new. The clutch was bleed correctly and I have full pedal pressure.

Problem:
With the car turned off it will not go into 1st or reverse without substantial effort.

The twist:
When the car is jacked up on the passenger side substantially, the car will go into 1st and reverse perfectly and the gearbox as a whole feels like it should.

Notes:
Car will also not go into any gear while running.

Sounds like you need to split the case!! Something in the forks gotta be messed up!. Only fix is to tear it apart. Or buy a new tranny.
