Ecu

Can I have a 62 redtop ECU in the car and I think it is blown. Can I use a J4 ECU. I know the J4 are for the black top Type X. Just asking because it is a emergency.

you can but you might have some slight flooding problems as my friend does.
he is running a redtop w/ a BT ECU.

You won't blow anything. it will be fine.
like i said flooding and slight bogging may occur, especially on 3rd to 2nd downshifts.
