i'm afraid my axle will go flying out

Here's the story:
I park at a sushi place in La Jolla with a weird ass parking lot.
I proceed to back out, and promptly back off a curb, slamming my rear driver side tire to the ground.
Ever since then, it's been making a clunking noise every time I corner hard, or brake hard. If I go over bumps, the shit clunks like crazy.
When I park the car facing forward on a STEEP hill & turn the car on, I can FEEL the clunking underneath me with the car standing still, and when I back up, the weight of the car pushing forward really accentuates the noise.

I checked my rotor, caliper, and shock tower, and the suspension components, they all look fine from visual inspection. I'm afraid my shit will go flying out on the freeway

help

jack your car up and check again. spin the wheels to see if you hear anything. then replace whatever is broken.

when my axle took a crap on me my car lags everytime i switch gears. i could feel and hear the clunking noise from the rear.

If you are experiencing this while at rest than the driveline/suspension is not the place to look. Check the exhaust.

Check the exhaust and the sway bar links. If you broke a link then it would make noises cornering, but the car would also corner differently. Honestly though it sounds like your exhaust to me.
