Question no parking lights?

1989 nissan 240sx coupe. Last night I am driven down the road and get a call from a friend behind me. They tell me that my parking lights are not on. I check the fuse, and nothing seems to be blown. The headlights work fine, its just that the parking lights wont come on? has any one had a problem like this before? and thoughts?

So the Headlights are on and there are no parking lights, Brake lights work when I hit the break pedal. but no parking lights, no cluster only thing that show is the digtel speedo? Thanks for the help you guys.

no I have not. They did not come on, but when I was going home they cut on.. I dont think that one blub would cause the inside cluster to also not cut on.. Or could I be wrong?
