Hi, I have a problem deciding which exhaust to buy. Isn't there both N/A and turbo versions of the n1 single? Which exhaust do you guys recommend for the best performance and looks. Thank You.

actually Apexi doesnt make any N/A exhausts. technically both the N-1 and N-1 dual were intended for turbo, but happens to work well on the higher displacement KA. This i also kinda why N-1's are so loud.

I like the N-1 but if you want something better suited for N/A, I'd suggest looking into an HKS Hiper exhaust. Designed very similar like the N-1 (looks almost the same) but the piping is 65mm and it is 2 piece

From what i have heard on the KA the N-1 singal is pretty damn loud but my N-1 Duel is pretty sweet gets loud at first till it warms up the it quiets down alot but it has a sweet tonw not a pesky beek can sound. The N-1 is going to give better hp and torque numbers for the N/A setup and is still a great exhaust for the turbo setup as well.

I just bought a Dual N1 for my 98 S14, which will replace my current Single N1. &nbsp;Any buyers? &nbsp;I live in the Central Valley (Modesto, Ca) and won't ship. &nbsp;Might as well, get it brand new than paying for shipping! &nbsp;E-mail me at [email protected] if interested. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

I'd say N-1 dual as well. N-1 single kinda lagged on low-end when I tried it out on my car. Not much, but noticable.

Hey chiken magnet the s/h on an exhaust is actully not that bad.I paid 53.00 for 3 day shipping but i could have paid 23.00.I had mine shipped from ma to va and it came ups.But I know that if you were going to go turbo that you could just get the turbo universal n1 tip and have custome pipeing made for it.But the n1 duel is great for both na and turbo.

that's shipping for the DUAL. &nbsp;single is ONE PIECE, and has to come truck freight. &nbsp;oof. &nbsp;it's like $80 minimum.

Definatly get the dual, got it last friday and the looks on this things are unreal. It makes a nice rumble and poping sound when revs are coming down. Its not to loud either, right when you put it on it is really loud but for about a day or two is quiets down. And right when you put it on it smells really bad to, but it goes away really quick to.
