ha, i acctually just went to www.infiniti.com and got the quotes for the G35... i was like, "fairly trounces" <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> what the heck is that, but i thought it was funny. heh. oh, and the specs were taken from the original ad, on the back of "HOTDOG PRESS" japanese magazine that i bought like 3 years ago, the ad is for a SPEC R and says 250PS, i don't know the conversion for PS to HP so i estimated... dont' think i'm that far off.

uh... riiiight. The layout doesn't look believable at all (infiniti has a relatively good ad campaign, and their layouts are usually clean and catching) -- the photo of the car itself is ... mediocre, and the red lettering just doesn't fit the infiniti style. ... I didn't bather replying, because I those this was dumb... but I will now.
All of you are mentioning things about the graphics, font, layout, whatever.  Did nobody notice the Nov '02 date?  OK then...

But... I thought it was nice.  All of you are ripping the pic.  I liked it.  Not enough resolution... but still good.

oh yeah, and why would Nissan bring a discontinued car to the US.. and don't you think we'd have heard mention of it before its on the back of a magazine. But really, lay off the guy, i think he did a fine job, i mean really i'd like to see someone do better, all you guys who have talked shit about his work should try to make a better one. obviously its not a real ad, just one he did for fun, so it shouldn't be on par with a real ad designed by a professional who im sure had more training, time, and support.

your right, according to Ephesians 5, but, i didn't expect anyone to believe it... other wise i wouldn't have put "don't be like parapa on this one" for a sub-title... you know, Parapa's gotta believe. i made the fake ad at work, in my spare time, and didn't go all out. not to mention, someone commented that the picture of the car was poor, well, tell that to nissan, because i got it from one of their ads. look at the picture again, and you'll see the magazine either opens backwards or the back is printed upside down... no one pointed that out, obviously i didn't take the time to flip the whole thing around. i was just bored and wanted to make it.

can't we all just get along? some people come to forums just to bash others, what's the joy in that? this isn't a Honda forum, one thing i had respected about Nissan drivers is that most don't act like jerks on the road. let's bring that spirit to zilvia.net and show each other friendly respect.

It wouldn't be called the s15, they'd prolly call it a G20 or something to that extent. Other than that, not bad at all.

Honestly though, if they had ever brought the s15, it wouldn't have been under Infinite's badging. The s-chassis cars aren't refined and luxurious enough. Don't get me wrong, that isn't necesserily a bad thing, I mean the Z isn't an Infinite either :-)

Get over it people.  Its a pretty good ad for a quick job.  I have not seen any great photoshop jobs on this board to rave about.  Most cant do anything in good photoshop.  The actual japanese ad looks pretty much the same, except in japanese, ive seen it before.
