Map sensor location.

Where is everyone who runs a standalone with a map sensor putting the map sensor and running the vacuum line to?

Running Haltech E6X with 4bar Gm map sensor

My MAP is mounted to the firewall on the passenger side above the pinch weld right next to my UEGO translator box tapped hole in manifold for pressure reading

Oh I simply assumed that one should run a vacuum line off the intake mani to the sensor, but I guess it depends what kind of sensor it is.

My MAP is in the sub injector hole in the cold pipe... No vacuum line is going to it as the sensor is electronic.

if your map sensor has a nipple for a vacuum line use any available vacuum port on the manifold and mount the sensor where you have room.
