Sr question

I just got done rebuilding my sr, well basically the head of the motor. It is on my engine stand and i hand crake the motor and it feels like there is soft and hard spots in it as i rotate. Is that normal? i checked for binds and stuff everything looks good. Thanks

do you have the plugs in the head right now? if you do, take them out and then give it a spin...it should spin much more freely this time around.

Agreed. It's most likely compression. If it does it with the spark plugs out though, then you might have other issues.
