Hey whats up guys, well i have a 91 FB SE and i was driving around the other day and i came across a 89 FB, 5spd, gray, pretty beat, but it ran. It has 170k on it , yeah pretty up there, but it runs decent, has the common chain rattle at startup but it goes away, and pretty much the muffler is crap, and its got a bouncy idlel, other than that it isnt bad, ie brakes, clutch, etc. Well, back to the point, you guys think it would be worth it to drop $350 bucks for it, seems like pocket change and i mine as well

notes:
-how long will the chain last, when it has the rattle at startup and goes away, b4 i get major problems, have read mixed opinions
-idle goes from 500 to 900 to 500 and so on
-new tires, decent body, cleanable interior
-wouldnt be a daily driver, just a car to work on
-would ne of u guys have a old stock exhaust that they would part with for real cheap, ie just a muffler if u wish
-haha, is this long enough yet?

like i said, just checkin out ur opinions

what do you mean by "wouldnt be a daily driver, just a car to work on"? Do you plan to swap a sr20de? If so then it would be a good idea to buy. or maybe you can fix it a little bit and resell to make some money.

$350 If its not rusted out or tore up, buy it fix it up and then resell for alot more then $350 or keep it as your project car.

I just say swap a sr20de because is cheaper than a sr20det. Have you seen blkspicy14 car? He built his sr20de and he claims 309hp, but it's easier for him cause his in Japan.
