Ok. so usually trouble codes are somewhat straight foreward, but this one...

p1445.

I have searched and found that it could possibly be the piece of mess right under the intake manifold possibly? I found that its unbolted on my car which is fishy and its also missing a hose clamp, I think this was caused by a previous owner. the instructions are so vague. my chiltons manual is also vague and shows a picture of the solonoid valve regulator but its covered up by the intake manifold.

here is what the fsm says to do but those instructions suck.

if someone could shed some light on the situation. I have the car sold but I need to smog it and I tried reseting the ECU but the CEL just comes back on. I need to fix this by tomorrow.

Im not sure how to even get that thing out.
