S13 Idle issues ka24de
So a few days ago i switched out my water pump because it was leaking throught the weep hole and while i was doing that i also decided to replace all 3 off my drive belts but now that i did that im having some idiling issues, the car drives fine but when im coasting it'll start to idle down until it stalls out
![]() Would appreciate any help... I was thinking that it might have to do with The ignition timing but im not sure. |

This is infamous on most 240sx. I can't explain why either. On my old 240sx, if I shift into neutral while coming to a stop, sometimes it would totally die and stall out. On my current 240sx, I don't seem to have a problem with the idle. On my old 240sx, to combat the low idle/stutter, I would turn my AC on all the time raising my idle a bit and blip the throttle.
Its either related to, vaccum leak somewhere or some people have said dirty IACV. |

The other idle issue I was able to resolve, crank sensor & distributor was bad. |
