The OBX headers are good in my opinion. I have a set now and the craftsmanship was rather nice. I also heard the OBX is a direct knock-off of the Hotshot but in stainless. I wouldn't recommend any others though, I have seen some rather shitty products outside of the Hotshot and OBX versions.

No, no one has. Not like there's ever been the opportunity in the numerous years that the dozens of manufacturers have been making them for anyone to try one out.

i ran a no-name on my ka-de swap in a Datsun 510, and it worked perfectly. No fitment issues, no leaks, welds looked good. I can't vouch for fitment issues in a s-chassis, but it served me well, especially for the $100 it cost..

Only fitment problems I've seen are for the EGR tube. Overall good prices on Ebay and won't matter to much unless you are attempting to be some NA DE power maker.

Go for it.

fitment problems are the biggest issue, like others have stated. stay away from the super cheap ($) header. thats a nono.

Header fits fine and lasts. Had an OBX for 2yrs and it is still flawless.

Turbo manifolds are crap.

I have both obx and egay...same fucking thing .

The ebay header needs to be smoothed out in runners...
I would doubt obx being a chinese header with there name and they smooth out ports.

imo...ebay header all day 1/2 the price...$88 bucks I paid...
smoothed out myself in 4 minutes.

I kind of like the ceramic coated 4-1 headers on ebay but everyone says go 4-2-1 or go home. I don't want a huge improvement I just want to have a rust free exhaust from front to back. Is this really that bad of an option?
Like this...

Yes, with the bore/stroke and the displacement of the KA 4-2-1 is a better option. Also, they merge under the car. longer runners.
