Help Aiming Screw On Popup Lights Stripped!!!
hey guys so i just installed HIDs in my popups and they were aiming like at the tops of peoples houses accross the street. i tried lowering them with the aiming screw but when i hit a bump the headlight pops back up to "blind oncomming traffic" mode. is there a way to possibly ziptie them down and have it be reliable. or would replacing the whole unit be a better choice. im not trying to spend to much money on theis front end cause im saving up for a silvia front. any help would be great thanks..

I always had problems with getting my popups aimed correctly on my old car... Best way to do it is take them out and line them back up to the screw holes and readjust them again. They tend to pop out when you screw them too far also.
Please tell me you didn't put HIDs in a halogen headlight setup, that alone will cause lighting problems to oncoming traffic. Just get some 5000k halogen H4 bulbs and use those. Save the HIDs for HID Xenon Projectors for when you do the silvia conversion (you'll have to retrofit).

i kinda was forced to do the HID thing. my friend bought me a set and i felt bad not installing them. i didnt wanna offend him by not doin it. but ya i did put them in halogen housings. i kno its stupid. but so far i havnt gotten anything from police.. knock on wood. actualy the bulb on the driver side broke so i been driving around with one stock yellow halogen light and one hid. haha.. looks so retarded. but still cops dont seem to look. so far. also if i have 1 6000k from one company and another 6000k from a diffferent company willl they match or be totally different colors?
