FS: 1997 kouki 240sx JDM aero, South Carolina...5800!!!

hey zilvia,
have a car here that i am contemplating selling...it is a 1997 240sx with 183k on the clock. some good things include:
JDM front and rear bumpers including fogs and turn signals
sunroof
17x8 ADRs
kouki wing
tokico shocks
HKS catback
tein springs
nismo power brace
and a few more misc suspension parts
stock KA has wires and an intake
the interior is like new and totally perfect. i was very impressed.

the bad:
its auto. also, i hit a deer and it broke the drivers headlight/JDM grille and messed up my carbon hood...there is also a small dent in the fender and a chip in the front bumper. the radiator support was also bet a bit behind the headlight (see pic). i would say it fits 90% well but if you look at the stock hood it doesnt line up perfect. i still have the carbon fiber hood and was thinking about using hoodpins to make it flush. it was not a bad hit, but based on the mileage the insurance company totalled the car. this means that the title appears clear now, but when someone buys it and re-titles it it will be salvage.

my plan was to do a SR or RB swap and 5speed it, and i am still contemplating that. if someone is interested in coming to see it or drive it i can be PMed or reached at 224.402.1399.

the car runs and drives amazing, and is super clean inside and out. i think it is a great price for a great looking kouki that gets compliments everywhere, and with just a little TLC the car could be worth three times what i am asking. if no one buys it, i will keep it and do the swap over the winter.
thanks for looking!

put all the pics up...if you look straight on at the drivers side headlight you can see the hood looks good, but not 100%. i can get more pics or show the car in person if anyone is serious.

Geez, I can't believe the insurance totaled that, they are fools! That could be fixed pretty easily, and now it has a dam salvage title! I probably woulda fought them on that one. What did they estimate the damage at? I cant see it being over 2-3 grand. To total they must of issued a nice check for it. I know some people dont care about the burdend title, but alot do when it comes to selling. I dont as long as I know what happend and it was fixed correctly, hell my car has been salvaged 3 times, but I couldnt let her go, just made her better each time! Not being negative at all, just dont understand why they totaled for so lil damage! I would keep it and retitle and do what you want with it! But if you must sell, Good luck as this is a good deal!

yeah, i was kind of surprised that they totalled it too...it was partly my fault because i took it to the best body shop i knew. i wanted it to be perfect, you know? i cant believe your car was salvaged three times! it looks amazing, i must say.
like i said before, i dont have to sell it, but i could use the garage space. i think its a great deal too, but we'll see what happens!
thanks for the advice though.

just found a pic of the damage...i still have the carbon hood and will go with the car for free. i think it could be repaired as the cracks are almost all in the clear coat.
