Front tire size recommendations

I recently picked up pair of week old toyo proxes 4 (less than 100 miles on them) in a 245/45/17 for 150.00, that I want to run in the rear of my s13. I've done some searching, and found that I can make this work. I know the side wall is high, but for the price I couldn't go wrong. My question is, what tire size would you recommend for the front? Ideally, I'd run 235/40's all around, but since I have the rears, I was wondering should I go ahead and stay with the same sidewall size (235/45) or should I go w/the 235/40? I know that the 235/45 is not as high of a sidewall as the 245/45's, but I'm unsure if the 40 series would look akward w/the 45 series in the back.
The tires are going on mb's 17x9 +17's. Suspension mods are MR coilovers, footwerks RUCAs. I will be rolling the fenders, and I'm not worried about a little camber. The car only sees the streets, and is dropped 3"+/-.
BTW, I don't want to run anything less than a 235 width.

p.s. couldn't decide is this was a tech or chat question.
