i need to know what is a couple of the top engine swaps for the 240 and what will fit i would like to put a zx300 twin turbo in and spray it i plan on doing the body myself an doing a s15 conversion on it it is a dream and i am new to the import racing world and would like to find a way of pushing about 500hp on this car thanx for any help possible

If you would like a Twin Turbo engine it would be best to get a 300ZX.  500hp is obtainable, but it is highly doubtful you will ever get there unless you have alot of $$$ and actually know what you are doing.  Try looking through posts in the chat section, all this stuff has been covered many times over.

I was just wondering if you have ever driven a 500 hp car. 500 hp is such an arbitrary number. 500 hp isnt that hard on the VG30. On the SR or KA, the engines are made for the 240, 500 hp is pretty ludacris. The only reason you would want 500 hp is if you wanted a drag car, and if you wanted a drag car why would you put an s15 front on? It just seems you want 500 hp just to say you do.

first. use punctuation.
secondly, 300zx with 500 HP is a lot of money and work. ist not a cheap car.
thirdly on an SR its a lot of work, knowledge and money too

if you want 500 HP buy a domestic. its cheaper and probably can get up to or near 500 faster.

or get a supra. either way, on a 240sx 500 is big dreams and pretty much just that.
