yeah, that will work. i custom built my own exhaust with 2.25 inch mandrel bent piping and a 3A Racing muffler. i too do not have the money. but, i like what i did... it sounds good, and my car likes it. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> but yeah, your plans will work perfecty, you just gotta weld everything together.

Sounds good to me. I actually know a few people who have made (or had made) their own exhausts on Hondas b/c they didn't want the bling bling fart can w/ a 4 inch tip hanging out the back. IIRC, they got the total deal for about $275.

I was thinking of doing the same thing, but with a apex n1 muffler. Would a 2.5 inch piping be too big? I don't want to lose the torque. How big is the stock piping? I don't have much money either cause i have to pay for school and work only part time.
