Hello, has anybody had a problem with their "ignition coil relay?
I have an SR swap in a 89 240sx. was running great , one day just wouldn't start .
I have changed the ignitor over to a Q45 unit but still no spark .....HELP!!! Any sugestions?

Do you have power (12v) to the ignitor and the coils?<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> Relay supplies 12v to these.

I just figured out what it is . My ecu is fried. &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sneaky2.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':evil:'>
Pin#36 is waxed in the ECU . Right back of the pin on the board it is fried through . #36 as you probably know is the ignition on citcuit . Therefore I would not be getting enough juice to the coils .
Ever heard of this happening? &nbsp;Now I need a new ECU .Have any sources? All mine won't break up a set to sell me one?

Are you refering to the circuit board or the eprom/chip? &nbsp;The board can be easily repaired or duplicated at most *real* electronics repair/parts shops. &nbsp;It is also not an extremely difficult DIY, but timeconsuming for any novice.
