RB rb26 wont start! injectors???

ok just tried to start my rb26 in my s14 for the first time. it wont start. i get spark but no fuel. futher research shows the following- fuel pump works, i get 50psi at the regulator, and i have injector firing signal and injector 12volt, and the injector clicks when told to fire! so this is what i did, i took out the spark plugs, i cranked the engine and looked/smelled for fuel vapor, nothing. now with a voltmeter/test light i checked the injector signals. each injector has its 12volt power. while cranking the engine the injectrs get ground out according to firing order. but no fuel spray! so what i did was turn the key on and let fuel pressure build to the set 50psi. i then supplied my own 12 volt to the injector and then groung the injector. the injector makess its distenct click as it opens but no fuel sprayed out??? so im leaning towards the injectors are clogged. sound right to you? let me know what u think and how to resolve this problem. thanks
paul

thats a good assumption to make. It would definitely be my first thing to look at. The other thing you might want to check is fuel lines themselves. Make sure that you are getting fuel flow into the fuel rail. Definitely sounds like a clog somewhere.

i have -8an fuel lines and an upgradded rail. everything flows well i can hear the fuel flow back to the race cell, so fuel flow is great, and fuel presure is up to 50 psi so clogged?

Try taking the injectors out and seeing if they are opening and closing, might be an electrical problem.

lines are correct. fuel flow is great. the injectors click open and close but no fuel spray. the injectors get the signal to fire, they click but no fuel spray!

still sounds like the fuel lines are on backwards. the fuel is pumped out of your gas tank, then it's filtered via the fuel filter, then it supplies all the injectors, then after it passes through all the injectors it gets to the fuel pressure regulator, and the fuel line that goes to your fuel pressure regulator goes right back to your tank. if your fuel line that has the fuel filter on it is going straight to the fuel pressure regulator then they are backwards.
