help body guys! smacked my car up a little
so i was not paying attention when pulling out of my spot and smacked a yellow pole with my bumper and fender, and ruined the lines of my perfect car!
but the dent doesnt look too bad (meaning i could possibly fix it myself). ive never done body work before but I can handle the paint (touch up and compound and polish). anybody have tips on how to deal with this? its bothering me a LOT to look at! and dont mind the 4x4 action, i have some stance coils on the way. ![]() ![]() ![]() thanks for any help/suggestions |

Slap a band aid on it and you're good to go! But seriously just remove bumped push out dent, touch up paint, buy side marker light and you're ready to rip!

Hahaha. Nice. I guess that would be the same diffy as the hail damage/dry ice deal.
Yeah, if you pop that one out, its probably gonna be a bit wavy toward the top. Kind of pinched looking. Just remember if you go to whacking it with something, use a rubber mallet or block of wood or something so the metal hammer head doesn't knock more pings into it + crack paint to shit. And if you do have to hit it with something from the inside, keep pressure on the outside of it too to make for a nice solid whack. And if it's wavy, a little polyester body filler would work good. And like they've already said: it's an s13. It'll probably happen again. Don't spend too much on it right now. Unless you plan on getting super-baller-wide-ass wheels, then you can score some Origin 20mm fronts and be cool like I will be one day. |

Try a paintless dent repair guy. It looks like the dent is on a body line but I've see those paintless guys do wonders.

as long as the fender mounts are str8 which im sure they are, it should be a perfect fit. and if they are bent a little then pliers and straighten accordingly. the top holes where the fender lineup should be perfect unless u bent the chassis frame. it'll come out clean no worries or just sell me ur bumper side extensions and convert 2 JDM. haha |

sometimes dents like that dont pop out. my first project in my auto body class i had to get a dent out of a fender that was scrap. it took me 2 weeks of hammering it from the inside laying the fender onto a sandbag made for things like this. i the end i had to bondo it to enev it out a little and learn how to bondo. =] it was a masterpiece. hahah

ohh come on sir, you can just push that out with ease, doesnt look like it creased it or anything, heat it up a little bit, turn your wheel to the left all thw way, put a glove on, and push out on that fender, it should just pop right out!

depends on how anal you are about it. if you want it perfect....... get another fender and paint it, along with the bumper. if not, pound it out and buff both pieces. you should be able to get the yellow out. scratches and chips will remain (obviously).
