how is his possible???

i never seen this b4. i am running a microtech ltx8s on my sr20det and trying to get the hang of this tunning thing, but how is it possible that the spark plugs foul out so easily. i am using ngk v power-9 and the car idles all day but if i manage to take it up the block it fouls the plugs on 1 pull. plugs are really black and dry not wet at all. has this happened to anyone where plugs fouled out within 2-3 days of purchasing them i kno i need a tune but after 2 days, 1 or 2 pulls up the block, plugs should of held up no matter how rich im running

might as well try known good coolant temp sensor (2 wire for ecu) off a 92 sentra sr20de. check your tps voltage with the throttle body closed 0-1 volt and wide open should be 4-5 volt. also verify correct base timing per fsm, it is 15 degrees advanced ( 15btdc)

^^^ Yup, great advice.

If they're not wet, then you're just running incredibly rich. Your base map could be good, I suppose, but somewhere you're dumping a ridiculous amount of fuel in.

Microtech... unnngggg

do you have a wideband? What are your readings?

Can you do injector phasing? That might be out of synch too.

Your A/F dont need to much lower than 11.0. Lean it out a bit and see how it does.

Well, your answer is that then.

A car under 10.2 and richer is going to run really really bad. Your tune needs to be at LEAST 10.8/1 for the car to drive smoothly.

I only live my life in boost.

Didn't you know that?

Yeah steve is right, in vacuum it needs to be even leaner.

I think your microtech install might be full of fail right now.

Heres what I tune for

15.0 or 16.0 at idle

Low throttle I stay around 15.0 since there is no load

@ 0 boost 0 Vacuum I tune for 12.0

Under WOT 11.0-10.8

Then i just ramp the map so it flows between these transitions smoothly.
