well what could be the problem causing this ? i mean for some reason my car loves to move to the left.. i've done my aligment after i change the tension rod. i think that's what it called... and yea it was doing that before i have my aligment. sometimes it can go straight but most of the time can't. i wondered why and what's the cause for this... <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> thanks

Have you changed the steering wheel recently? is the wheel centered? Sounds a lot like an alignment problem though...

Perhaps you have a bent rim ?, don't know for sure but it'd be worth having it checked. They'll just put it on the balancer and give it a spin, should take like 5 minutes. Check the rack like what was said earlier. and make sure you new t/c rods are secured properly, so they're not shaken loose. Still sounds like an alignment prob . Hope any of this helps...

When you got your alignment, what were your caster values?
The tension control rod helps control caster; and most of the time, uneven caster is the culprit when a car pulls. What was wrong with the t/c rod to warrant a replacement in the fiirst place? Is it OEM or aftermarket? Installed correctly and securely? |
