s13 Cooling help

I have a 92 coupe. If i switch 2 an electric fan instead of belt driven, and change my radiator cap to a higher boiling point spec like 1.3. will my car run better?

not extremely better...i doubt you would notice the difference between a clutch fan and a set of electric ones...

What exactly do you mean by running better?

Removing the clutch fan will remove some of the parasitic effects on the crank but I doubt you'll notice.

A coolant system that works is a coolant system that works. How you achieve that is personal preference.

There are pros and cons to everything.

dont make the mistake of putting a higher pressure radiator cap on your system if its not up to spec. thats just a band aid for an improper cooling system. my advice would be to make sure your radiator is in good condition, make sure your fluid is good, tubes are in good condition, etc. even better, get a new radiator. cooling panels help too! not hype. then if youre still having problems get a higher pressure cap

Actually, just do it right the first time and pressure test your cooling system.

That should let you know if any problem spots exist.
