BuddyClub Spec II Silencer Issue

So i put my silencer in my exhaust today, but i had to hammer it in (I used a soft rubber mallet). The issue...? Has anyone else had a really tight silencer like this? My concern is getting it out, what should i use to get it out?

I was thinking of taking off the exhaust and hammering it back out using a long pole, but a straight pole can't make it around the bends.

My silencer rattled from being so loose in the Spec II, then fell out from auto loosening and some jackass stole it while I turned around to pick it up.

ASpec B II muffler, tight as hell silencer. I think ASpec sells a tool for silencer removal, its kind of a rigid coat hanger, a very long pole with a hook at the end, you hook around the back of the silencer and tug on it. You can probably fasten yourself one out of some form of metal or something.

Its just a long pole with a hook at the end. Or you can do what I do and remove it with pliers on the inside of the silencer lip and tug.

No the tip hasn't been hit. the problem is that the spec II tip tapers, from the 3" - 4" but gradually. The silencer however, its 4" all around (atleast thats what it looks like, and thats my theory on why it doesn't fit). If the silencer was tapered a little bit, i bet it would fit like a brown leather glove on OJ

that car.

Custom turbo (2560 replica)
power fc
550cc injectors
greddy down pipe
megan test pipe
random tubular mani.

yeah, the silencer sucks, and will cause enough back pressure to ruin the gaskets/exhuast wheel, LEAVE IT OUT!

Thanks for teh specs on that car! Is it yours or something? Because I heard it a while back and only noticed that it had power fc and such fom what it stated on the vid.
Does it sound any different with a stock turbo Id assume?

its not that much different.

the custom turbo is knicknamed the "tbor charger" after the customer we designed it for. It is essentially a 2560, yet thrust bearing, using the oem sr housings.

Yes that is me, and my old car which is Loooooong gone.

I had one of these a few years ago, silencer was tight and i used a el cheapo long tip screwdriver with a bent tip to get it out...just a few yanks.

I loved it, the whole cat-back weighed like 19lbs.

btw, I had lock a lock washer and a nylon lock nut. never lost it.....If you are really worried, drill another hole and put in a pop rivit.

Listen to this guy...big bad wolf.

You probably haven't had a spec II, but it knows that its too good for the silencer, so it spits it out...duh. Its not their fault...

Wow im a retard. That sucks.

Yeah, i made that video, thats me. LOL.

The song. It is off the Deltron 3030 album, track title "Positive Contact"

Mario C did a remix which is pretty ill.

The Deltron 3030 album, is more experimental than anything, a storytelling album, set to sci fi, with electronica constructions, yet keeping with del's very uniqe lyrical style.

"Deltron" is really, Del the Funky Homosapian, you might also know him from his work in gorrillaz.

I dont suggest using the silencer on the spec II, it tooo restrictive, and i "feel" it can cause damage.

The only "feeling" anyone will do with a silencer in is the person driving behind you when it flies out!
