Has anyone put civic si seats in a 240?

I know I know blasphemy but they are really nice seats just wondering if they fit and how it would look

Haha, they're pretty comfy and it'll update the looks of the interior, I'd cover up that SI logo tho. I doubt they bolt in directly, even the 350z seats would not bolt in directly. You'd have to chop off the brackets and weld in your own set. Search for the write up on mounting 350z seats into 240s, it should help. If you're getting a bomb ass deal on seats, I'd go for it.

Yeah that SI logo would come off definitely. 350z seats are ok but I've been trying to think of better options and the SI seats look sexy.

I was going to try putting in rsx type s seats with some i had laying around. I was just going to reweld the 240sx stock seat brackets onto the rsx seats should work.

As far as the civic seats, i saw a S13 hatch for sale with 03? Civic SI Seats in it. they didn't look to bad but i remember it being a "custom" rail.

well when i put my evo 9 mr recaros in i bought bride rails and grinded down a few nubs on the seat and just screwed them together. they sit fine. get a pic of what the seats look like underneath with everything unbolted then we can know for sure. yes the 08 si seats are super comfy

edit: also turn the si into s13 on the seat that would be awesome

Hey dickhead rsx and si seats are very similar. They even might have the same mounts but im not to sure about that, but both need custom work alike. But s14 seats are bolt in noting special about it to make it fit which had nothing to do with the thread at all. I was giving the op advice in what will be needed to help make them fit.

if I were to use any honda seats in a 240, I would find a set of del sol seats and make them work, most can be had in good condition for 200 bucks, it's just a matter of making a rail for them.

They sit super low and are reclinable, i've had two sets in my previous honda's and the hug you as well, great lumbar support.

RSX, CIVICSI, and s2k seats all suck. I've had RSX seats in my old EM1 after I sold my Recaro SRDs' and my Del Sols... I went right back to del sols.

How much do you weigh? I'm only 5'6" 150 so I need a seat that will hug me well

I'm 5'8 and float around 190-220 lbs depending on how much money I want to spend on food or car parts. If anything I'd recomend the del sols then if you want a seat that hugs you.

I currently have a knock off brid brix seat in my car, it's pretty comfortable, but my thighs are a little big so you gotta pick your nuts up before you sit down type of deal...

I technically have a 40 inch waist now, but 33 is the smallest I've been with del sols.

There's so many good seats that would fit and look better. I don't understand why you'd go through the BS to make some Si seats work.

A few suggestions? I tried to find GTR seats around here but they wanted way too much money for them and they are rare in my area

I was thinking that, since theyre recaros, why cant you just unbolt the civic rails, buy some recaro rails for S-chassis and problem solved.

Do you have the seats on hand? Wouldnt hurt to check if the brackets are welded to the seats or not. If its just bolted on, then I dont see why it wouldnt work if you get the right seat rails.

Would that work for pretty much any seats? Get s13 aftermarket seat rails and mount them to a OEM seat? Probably a stupid question but I'm a noob at this.
