13.5-12.5 is more than a little lean.

I wouldn't want to be leaner than 12:1 in boost on 93 octane. It doesn't really make much more power, and it's risky.

you are all very right no doubt about it.......going to tweak the fuel a bit with my ultimate the car is park no so in about a month im buying a set of tomei cams and cam gears and dyno it again the goal is 350whp at 14psi hope i can reach it

any ideas or thoughts would be nice guys thanks for the replays

p.s after 350whp@14-15psi 400whp@20psi or more is next i wonder how long this motor will last if it makes through the summer i'll be lucky

You don't necessarily need cam gears with the JWT cams. I think they're pretty decent as-is, versus the BC cams that seem to need quite a bit a timing adjustment to work right.

With a healthy motor and good tune, 400 whp should be easy on a 30R. I would expect somewhere between 400-450 whp (dynojet) at 20 psi, and you probably would need to do around 13-15 psi to hit 350whp. There are some good dyno graphs for 30Rs and 3071Rs on freshalloy, not sure how many of them are posted here.

Eh, I just noticed that you have a ghetto exhaust manifold and stock IM. The numbers I mentioned above were cars on nice manifolds like Full-Race, with cams and Greddy IMs. The further you are from that, the less power you'll make.

Personally, I think bringing the car to 11.5-12:1 afr's and maybe 2-3 more psi and you'll see what you want. I don't think you need cams to reach that, but an IM would help to take advantage of the turbo's flow capacity and net higher numbers...

your absolutely right about that cheap A@# exhaust manifold i have lol.......but a set of JWT cams and a full-race manfoild are being purchased as we speak but i don't know if i want to change my IM because i know one kid who did and his torque curve sucks.....don't want to kill my Torque curve but if i can hit 350whp on a set of cams and a new F.R setup and the correct exhaust housing this turbo is supposed to have i'll be a happy camper no doubt about it after i reach my goal if possablie ..........400whp is next ( hope i don't blow this thing up )

for all thoose who shared there thoughts thank you
