its gonna be stiff as f*ck i have a RPS clutch thats rated 430lb its very stiff but easy to drive you let it out slightly the car starts to grab. i've driven on a CC stage 5 clutch same thing but tends to be very jerky for street driving

Biggest question is what kind of pressure plate are you working with?
As for the 6 puck, it's not that bad for street driving. My first two street/track cars had a 6 puck and a 3 puck heavy pressure plate. You'll stall in traffic a couple times or get a few jerky starts but you'll get used to it because it's worth it when you're clutch kicking into a 3rd gear bank. |

6 pucks have a really high grab and very on and off or very low play tolerance. Full face is a little more forgiving where you have more play room to have smooth engagement.
I driven on both RPS turbo max 6 puck and Street disc.... Street disc for sure. The 6 puck is a little tricky but grabs like crazy... 6 pucks won't last you as long as well.

i have the ACT heavy duty pressure plate. the 6 puck is ACT as well .
i initially ordered the full face street disk , but when i received the package in the mail , i saw a solid 6 puck clutch disk.. so i guess it might be a good thing because i dont wanna send it back .. i just wanna start driving my car !

It definitely puts alot of pressure on your kneecaps while keeping the pedal in,lots of resistance there with the upgraded pressure plate, just get used to it,you'll have a huge left leg soon enough.

i dont know about it not lasting long.. ive had the same act xtreme pressure plate and 6 puck solid disk in my car for 4 years now.. i pulled my tranny a year ago to replace my rear main seal and id say from the looks of it it could go another 3+ years.. i think it all depends on how you drive with the clutch. if you try to ride the clutch out youre going to wear the shit out of it.. i think the key is to learn how to drive with the LEAST amout of riding the clutch as you can.

Well there is less surface area in general for a 6 puck, but eh whatever. 6 pucks put a lot of stress on the tranny too....
For your 6 puckers, does it catch fairly high? Like around 1/2 up?

i think it depends on the pressure plate and where you have the clutch adjusted. but my xtreme plate does seem to grab 1/2 and up. but once you get past that halfway point it just pops out. which is why i think i learned to drive my car like that, and was basically forced to learn how to drive the car with minimal riding of the clutch haha
