^-- that pretty much says it all

buttttttt

get the following:

front calipers
rear calipers
rear e-brake assy ... ya know, the drums...and cables, but you can pick up the 2+2 cables online or from the dealer
brake master cylinder
don't need it, but get the brake booster if you can.
stainless braided conversion lines, everyone and their grandmother sells them

i also suggest rebuilding the brakes when you get them since they prob will have at least 100k on them

no, its not necessary to swap out the brake booster. The majority of the people dont swap them, but it wouldn't hurt if you did.

it would decrease the required pedal effort. i believe the surface area of the diaphram inside the z32 booster is greater than that of the s13.

-_-

Take your own advice. The thought to put a /sarcasm tag in my post did cross my mind. Clearly, I should have added one.

Regardless, if you look closely, my post was just a continuation of the joke and actually retains the proper definitions of break and brake. I feel silly having to explain that.

I have a stock s13 brake booster and to me it gives a better feel on the brake pedal. A little heavier but overall I love it. Upgrading to the 300zx brake booster will just make the brake pedal feel much lighter and less stress on you r leg but there is no need for it.

Good luck with the brake swap. You will love it when your done.

Oh yeah btw you can use the stock 300zx e-brake cables with out splicing them to merge with you stock cables. They should line up perfectly, you just need to re-route them if you have a s13.

the stock twin turbo Z E-brake cable is actually long enough for the S13??

Yeah you just need to lay it against your chassie. all you have to do is take the 10mm clip off the stock cable and mount in onto the 300zx cable and there should be a spot to mount the 10mm bolt right above your drive shaft. I'll try to make sometime this weekend to take a picture of it while I'm working on my car.

I had to learn this the hard way. My first attempt was splicing the stock and 300zx cables then merging them together. It worked but not great =/...

You can grab a brake booster off any 300zx, auto s14 or from a s13 Hicas. All those brake boosters are double diaphragm.
