Ok, so the lower control arm ball joint boot is completley screwed on my s14 and theres grease everywhere. I was wondering would it be easier to just buy the new ball joint for 30 or so and go through hell pressing it in, or just buy the whole arm with a joint for $30 more? I know buying the whole arm would be easier, but is intalling the ball joint on the s chassis difficult?

this was covered last week. i had the same problem and replacing just the ball joint will save you the $, plus its not too hard to handle.
i would recommend replacing the whole arm but s14 lower control arms are not cheap like s13 ones.

the fronts can be replaced with moog part from summit cheap and fast shipping. the rears you can either pay the top dollar for new arms or keep the one you got there is no just replacing the ball joint. i just went the summit route and had a competent individual with a press replace them

yeah overall bad thread. when i searched i only used s14's instead of s13's too... thanks for all the help! im gonna go with just replacing the joint!
