Does anyone know the color temperature of the HID's on the new Yukon Denali's? I've heard that the purple tint is over 6000K. Can anyone tell me or direct me in the right direction to find out?

when i was looking for new lighting i found that HIDs ranged anywhere from 4300-6000k.  I'm not sure about any specific cars though so can't really help you out.

P.S. - i ended up skipping H.I.D.s and gettin Catz galaxy white bulbs with a color temp. rating of 4300k due to financial reasons...

FYI no Denali's came with HID from the factory so they must have been aftermarket... but 6000k is purple and 8000k is blue. hope this helps

I'm pretty sure that they did come with HID's cause I've seen like 5 of them here that have them. Maybe it was a factory option...

Nothing beats the HID's that I have my friend. &nbsp; But yah, expensive just for LIGHTS. &nbsp;Lets just say that they are a FAR CRY away from my previous stock S14 lighting system (although S14 stock lighting system is a great setup). &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
