I am replacing the S14 SR20 stock turbo with an Apexi AX53B60-P25 (bolts on).  I only have the turbo itself, so I'm finding the parts I'll need to do the turbo swap myself.  The gaskets are no problem-but I'm not too clear on how the oil/water lines work.  Sorry if these questions sound real basic or are wrong questions, but everyone has to start somewhere.

1) Can I re-use the factory lines?  I heard that they have to be bent.  If I were to get custom AN6 SS braided lines, how long do they have to be?

2) It's not necessarily true that the fittings used to connect the oil/water line to the turbo are standard between turbos (i.e., between the factory turbo and the apexi turbo) is it?

3) I have the measurements for the fittings for the block end..but how can I go about finding measurements for the turbo end fittings?  Even better, if someone can simply tell me (or has experience with the Apexi ax53b60-p25).

If anyone has any additional advice on turbo installation/parts I'll need for installation in general please let me know. Thanks!

I've found that using transmisson hose works excellent for running turbo coolant and oil lines. With my T3/T4 i've had absolutly no problems with it either. I just cut the ends off of a few turbo lines and used them to hook into the turbo. good luck
