EGI Fuse keep burning. 1995 s14.

i need help. I have a 1995 Nissan s14. and my car egi fuse keep burning everytime i replace it (7.5 fuse). and i need it to drive, my headlamps wont turn on unless the egi is not burnt. I use to have an alarm and i took it out. would that be the problem? is there a shortage in one of the lines maybe? i put in an extra electrical line to produce more power but i doubt that its hitting or touching any other lines. please anyhelp would be greatly appreciated..
