SRT4 Owners

I was at the gas station by my house tonight. As i was pumping my gas there's a guy w/ an SRT4 parked in front of the mini mart and my car just happens to be facing him. He pulls out and as he drives by my car to get out of the gas station he revs and starts giving me valve while i'm still pumping my gas. My theory is that anyone w/ an SRT4 is a douche. Do you guys agree w/ me on this one?

I don't really see srt4's anymore ... I think most of those cars broke down already and lost their warranty because of mods! Ha ha yea most of the drivers seamed like real douchebags too.

QFT! Yup, the 2-3 I know have all broke and have been that way for a while. One was fully built, spun a bearing. The only one i see locally much is one that DD with 391whp. lolz.

yea i used to hate the honda ricer kids here in the valley with a passion, but it seems they have gotten cooler over the years and giving thumbs up, and now its these turds trying to rev at you from across the st, or blowing off or whatever. i dont care how much power they have...its still a neon.

they just love that the build boost at idle, and they blow off so easily... Also not that i condone street racing, but a few years back i was on the interstate and one tried to race, i kept up with him with a na KA with only an intake and exhaust. But those were the days when i was stupid, now i just laugh when i see them trying to race people

Not all. Some. One of my best friends had a Neon. He's not a douche. Well yea he is, but the Neon has nothing to do with it.

I also know a guy who AutoX's a neon who is an EXTREMELY awesome driver and down to Earth.

Most of the SRT-4 I see running around do stupid street racing shit. And lets not forget the high revs right by an upcoming stop sign just to flaunt the BOV sound. I get these guys all the time revving their engines up to my car as if I'm actually gonna stoop to that level. Ha. Funny.

maybe out where you guys are at there are some exceptions, but in my lil area? in all the years since that car has been out, there has only been one guy that i roadraced with, but he was an older kat. out here there is nothing but young highschoolers driving those, or cobalts and they think they either have more power than ferrari just cuz their car is loud. i can just guess how it will get once i start seeing the new srt4 out on the road.

The ACR Neons handled great! All the factory suspension stuff madea huge difference!


However....in general, Neons aren't bad little handling econo-boxes. My mom got one for free (some thing through work) and I thouroughly love beating the hell out of it...but it really does work well for a cheap little pile!

Yea they'll run for a long time. But ever little thing will break on'em. Like interior trim pieces, sunroofs, etc.

Most are, yes. For the price tag, they are a really good deal, and if you have the patience to deal with the others who make the car look like shit (guilt by association FTL, haha), they are a great platform to work on.

But yes, their transmissions are known to be their weakpoints. They are a typical sub 10,000 car...not expecting 2008 Maxima niceness out of them

There are idiots in every group. I've run into a VW 1.8T on my way home from school twice, both times he sped pass me and let his bov go off right as he was window to hood. I swear it had to be the most annoying bov in the entireeee whole, stupidly high pitched and squeaky. Sounded like a duck was dying or something.

It's not even just lower end cars that do this either. The other night a brand new bmw 335 pulled up next to me, downshifts and stayed like that. He taps on the gas a few times to pull away and slow down. Eventually he floors it and takes off as i ignore him.

The bmw was more funny than anything, but geeeezzzz that vw bov made me wanna cut my fucking ears off.

Down here it seems to be that most of the SRT-4 owners think they have the fastest car on the block which you could relate to the Honda generation when it first got popular.

For every import car genre there are the douchebags that think they have the hottest shit even if it stock.

Most of the ones I know think they have the fastest car ever. I call them Neons all day long, cause that's what they are. Only 1 SRT4 I know, actually admits to that. The other just throw a shit storm over how it's not a Neon. Silly Neon owners.

It's not that the SRT4 makes them a douche. It's more that a lot of douche bag ricers are drawn to the SRT4.
