Hey! Just got a 1990 240sx! First car I've bought (My last car was a hand-me-down 1982 Chevy...) and I'm loving it!

The rear brakes are totally shot though. The auto shop's estimating $600 for a repair. The extent of my car knowledge is replacing brake pads and changing oil on the old chevy, but I need to replace more than the pads on my 240sx.

What parts am I gonna need to repair my car myself? How much is it gonna cost? (Less than $600 I'd hope!)

Thanks for any advice!
