s14 sr20det harness question

ive been looking for days and asking people about my question but found nothing and different answers.. well my question is will an s14 kouki sr harness work on an s14 zenki sr or vice versa? some people that ive asked said its the same and some people said its not. its driving me crazy that i have to make a thread about it because i dont want to spend 300 dollars on the harness and end up not using it hope you guys understand.

and btw can somebody tell me if this power fc is kouki or zenki?

and btw this is my sr motor( i know its dirty)

you can call apex'i or one of their US tuners and they can look it up. The harnesses for the s14 sr kouki is definitely not going to have the same plug as a zenki sr. But chances are if the power fc is for the s14 motor then its for the zenki****. There are a lot less kouki fc's around. You need to have the right power FC based on the plug to your ecu. IF that power FC fits your harness then it will work on your motor. The ones that don't work wont fit. So if the harness fits the Power FC, and the harness is the correct one for the motor, then you are set.

*****BUT just the initial look of that unit does not look like a match for my Zenki SR plug or ecu (WC). See if you can find pictures of other SR ECU's. you only have three other options.

I hope this helps...good luck

i have a kouki s14 sr with the zenki ecu and maf. my wiring is also kouki. and yes the only wiring difference is the maf sensor plug. but you have to have the correct maf with the corresponding ecu, which may not matter for you since its not stock ecu.

yes Maf plug is different , just get a Z32 and wire up the new plug. Also go buy the new style oval plug coolant temp sensor as opposed to the zenki square one and your done! kouki motor! This only applys if you also have the kouki motor harness! if you got the zenki then sell that FC and get a zenki! Good luck bud.
