dude zipties on bike tires!?!? damm i wonder if that will help me with traction on my bmx bike, i got some street tires and i now live in a dirt area.. might have to try that lol

when i was in junior high....i used to race BMX...and when we had races in the rain/mud we would use zipties for traction but put the part where it clicks on the top of the tire like little "knobbies"

when i raced bmx i did the same thing at nationals . i also didnt cut it off right at the clickers , just left 1/8 to 1/4" hanging off . i did the same for cross country mountain as well . i thought it helped .

ive been using zipties instead of shoelaces for years now.
they dont get eaten by cleaning chemicals the way laces do. those hanging ziptie lamps are pretty cool i might give that a shot one day. here are some chrome ones if ya gotta be balla ![]() |
