s14 s14 frame rails

I got lazy and decided to jack my s14 on its frame rail and I forgot how flimsy they were. It shot up and collapsed to the top of the bed.

what are some options on fixing this?
both of my rails are pretty ruined from the previous owner as well

Drill out spot welds; Remove any rust where previous frame rail was. Coat with POR15. Wax the crap out of the inside of the new frame rail, Weld new rails back in.

Ive always wondered about plugging any drain holes in the floor pan, and completely sealing the frame rails with 6lb foam. But you would have to completely seal off any possibilities of water getting in anywhere, which would be near impossible. Unless you filled to a certain point, then drilled a drain hole right where the foam ended so any water/moisture could drain and not seep past the foam.

I feel like making a thread to rant about how people keep assuming they are frame rails

this is NOT directed at you but everyone as a whole

I was never surprise, I knew they were flimsy yet I really didnt care and was like fck it and yea they jumped up on me. Yet can you guys stay on topic, I was just thinking about cutting them off and welding on new ones or just fabbing my own.
